You know Ive always felt that VWs were pretty good cars with huge history but they depreciated quickly and didnt have the same badge recognition as some other marquees (sorry chun).
Having said that, if you buy a VW Phaeton, it will be made in this plant in Dresden. From a manufacturing viewpoint, its an absolutely incredible factory and something that could probably only be achieved in Germany. Whatever you think about Germans, you have to admit, that nothing comes close to Teutonic Engineering.

Now, that Dresden facotry would be my idea of a perfect vacation. Don't know if Susi would be too excited about it though....
