No matter what you think of U2 (I personally have not forgiven them for their bible thumping days and that whole zooropa fiasco), this is a a pretty damn cool thing to do for a group that is probably the greatest rock band of the past 25 years (yes they have been around that long).
Things like this can change the life of a young musician. And he got Bonos glasses (good trade man)! If anyone knows Kenny Wayne Shepard, his story is that as a toddler he was pulled up on stage by the late Stevie Ray Vaughn, put on and Amplifier and sat through his whole concert. KWS picked up the guitar shortly after that and has evolved into one of the finest young blues guitarists in the world.
