Not that Malaysians are much different actually. Over here the worse riots we had in 35 years left about 11 people dead. In South America they call that a football match.
something just occured to me. About 5 years ago, McDonalds in Singapore had a promotion where they were giving away 'Hello Kitty' dolls with every McValue meal purchase. I remember that these crazy Singaporeans where so anxious to get these dolls that they would camp overnight in front of the store to be the first one in. When the store opened the next morning, the crowd surged and somepeople were pushed through the glass. Here is the link

what this means is that in Singapore, more people are injured for 'Hello Kitty' dolls than in the fight for democracy.
btw for those who dont know, 'Hello Kitty' is a billion dollar a year business....
