Visitors will be pleased to note that most readings in the Klang Valley are at Hazardous levels. There was a smattering of rain today (seeding?) but the haze is gonna last at least a month with no shift in the wind direction.

I dont get this rating thing. So they tell us the air quality is hazardous and yet are unable to recommend any action to take when it does reach such levels?

Secondly by what sorta lousy luck is it that the only place badly affected by fires in Sumatra is the Klang Valley?

Thirdly why hasnt there been a decisive statment halting at least primary schools and kindergardens(if the air quality is at hazardous levels). Is it because the schools might be closed indefinitely?

Lastly, there will be huge economic repercussions of this haze. Tourism, consumer retail and outdoor leisure will see huge drops not to mention the loss in productivity from illness.
