Irony

I suppose it would happen eventually if they didnt go extinct first. Guess the tusks are a remnant of the times when they were woolly mammoths and had to fend off attackers. Must have worked since they are the largest land animals left.


Here comes the irony:

Their only remaining predators are in fact after their tusks, and the only way they can protect themselves is to evolve away the the very thing that kept them safe for 300million years.
